Mission

The purpose of the Trust will be to advance Buddhism in NZ by the preservation, care and practice of the Buddhist philosophy, teachings and culture in line with the traditions of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism under the spiritual authority of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje and his successors and under the spiritual and practical counsel of Lama Ole Nydahl (the Main Teacher).
