Heartland market update

Annual results announcement date
Heartland Group Holdings Limited (Heartland) (NZX/ASX: HGH) advises that it expects to:

• announce its full year results for the year ended 30 June 2021 (FY2021) on Tuesday 24
August 2021
• release its annual report for FY2021 on Monday 27 September 2021.

A live webcast for investors and analysts will be held at 10.30am NZST on the same day as the results
announcement and can be accessed via this link.

Annual Meeting date
Heartland also advises that its Annual Meeting will be held at Te Pae Christchurch Convention
Centre, Christchurch on Thursday 28 October 2021, commencing at 2pm. Other details relating to
the meeting will be advised in the Notice of Meeting to be sent to all shareholders in due course.

Director nominations
For the purposes of NZX Listing Rule 2.3.2, Heartland advises that the closing date for director
nominations is Monday 30 August 2021. All nominations must be received by 5pm (NZST) on that
date.

Nominations may only be made by a security holder entitled to attend and vote at the meeting, and
should be accompanied by written consent of the person being nominated.

Any nominations should be sent to Heartland at PO Box 9919, Newmarket, Auckland 1149, for the
attention of the Chief Risk Officer.
