The Board of F&C Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce that Julie Tankard will join the
Board as an independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee with
effect from 1 August 2022. Mrs Tankard replaces Jeff Hewitt who retired from the Board at the
conclusion of the 2022 AGM.

Julie is the Chief Financial Officer and a Board member of the Port of London where, as well as
finance, she is responsible for risk, procurement, legal and information technology. She
is also a
pension trustee of a defined benefit scheme, working with investment advisors, the scheme
actuary and pensions advisory committee.

Julie is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She sits on the Industrial
Development Advisory Board and previously chaired the audit committee of Leeds & York NHS
Foundation Trust, prior to which she held various senior positions at BT plc.

Mrs Tankard does not own any ordinary shares in the Company.

No further information is required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of this
appointment.
