Replacement of Northwest Representative Director
Northwest Healthcare Properties Management (the Manager), the manager of Vital
Healthcare Property Trust (Vital) confirms that, with effect on and from 9 August 2023,
Michael Kevin Brady will be appointed as Non-Independent Director of the Manager. Mr
Brady will replace Paul Dalla Lana as a representative of Northwest Healthcare Properties
REIT on the Board of the Manager. Mr Dalla Lana will come off the Board of the Manager
contemporaneously with Mr Brady’s appointment.
Mike Brady is the former Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at
Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT (TSX: NWH.UN) and has been appointed President of
the REIT. Since joining Northwest in 2006, Mike has played a significant commercial and
legal role in the strategic direction and growth of the REIT, most recently leading the team
to complete a €2 billion pan-European joint venture fund, a $435 million UK hospital
portfolio, and a $2 billion joint venture fund and acquisition of a $1.25 billion hospital
portfolio in Australia. Mike is a graduate of Dalhousie University, where he earned his B.A.
(Economics), MBA and Bachelor of Laws, and prior to joining Northwest practised law in
downtown Toronto. He was selected as a finalist for Canadian General Counsel of the
Year in 2019.
