Extension of Defence Base Services contract
Ventia announces a 12-month extension of our Base Services contract with the Department of
Defence (Defence). Commencing in July 2024, the extension is expected to deliver revenue of
approximately $550 million to Ventia.
Ventia’s Base Services contract spans Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory
and Tasmania where we deliver a range of estate management, living services and base support
capability. This includes asset management and maintenance, ranges and training area management,
airfield management, land management and environmental services, project management, hospitality
and catering, domestic services and transport services.
