HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED (the ‘Company’)
SALE OF SHARES FROM TREASURY

The Company announces that it agreed on 24 May 2024 to allot 100,000 ordinary shares of no
par value from shares held in treasury, at a price of 238.12p per share. The net asset value per
ordinary share as at the close of business on 24 May 2024 was 230.6p.

These shares will be issued on 29 May 2024. Following this sale from treasury, the Company’s
share capital is as follows:

Ordinary shares in issue with voting rights: 162,282,179
Ordinary shares held in treasury: 706,385
Total issued share capital: 162,988,564

The total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their
interest in, Henderson Far East Income Limited under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and
Transparency Rules.
