Ventia awarded new maintenance services contract with
Western Power
Ventia has been awarded a 5-year transmission and distribution maintenance services panel contract
with Western Power. The agreement is expected to deliver revenue of approximately $150 million over
the period of the contract.
Ventia’s scope of work will include the delivery of maintenance services across Western Power’s
transmission and distribution network.
Western Power are responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that
connects 2.3 million people to traditional and renewable energy sources.
Ventia’s Group Executive – Infrastructure Services Tim Harwood said that “Ventia is committed to
growing through long term relationships with key transmission and distribution service providers.”
“The core of our electricity business is operations and maintenance across energy networks in
Australia and New Zealand and this contract will enable us to continue to grow our market share with a
key distribution and transmission service provider.”
Works are expected to commence in September 2024.
