Mission: Family Mental Health Support Inc. (FAMHS) is an independent community, non-government organisation established to provide support, advocacy and education for the families and whanau of people affected by mental illness and addiction. FAMHS provides nurse led one-to-one family support. Through education and support, FAMHS nurses assist families to understand their family member's illness, and how they can best support them in their recovery, whilst maintaining their own wellness.
