MEDIA RELEASE

30 November 2021

The Board of Accordant Group Limited (AGL) advises the appointment of Simon Bennett as Chair of

the Board replacing Ross Keenan following his retirement on January 1, 2022. Simon is currently a

non-executive director of the Group.

Retiring chairman Ross Keenan reflected “The Board is delighted to announce Simon’s appointment.

Since retiring from his role as Chief Executive earlier in the year and having worked so well with Jason

Cherrington to ensure a successful leadership transition, the timing is ideal for Simon to now lead the

Group’s governance and strategic direction.”

Simon is a trustee of the ICE Foundation and a director of The Icehouse. Simon’s involvement in the

Group began as CEO and a shareholder of Madison Recruitment, which was Accordant’s first major

acquisition in 2013. Simon subsequently became CEO of the Group and has been instrumental in

transforming the recently renamed Accordant Group into the broader, stronger and diversified business

that it is today. His passion for impact alongside profit, has led to the formation of The Work Collective

and the Group’s innovation and thought leadership in the ‘future of work’.

Simon Hull, majority shareholder and founder of subsidiary AWF, noted “The Board unanimously

supported the appointment and are grateful for the tireless work of Ross Keenan to ensure a smooth

transition from his role as founding Chair. The Group is performing well and is poised for future

opportunities. Being able to harness Simon’s understanding of industry drivers and levers, together

with his insight into the Group’s capability will ensure the Board is optimally supporting management as

they work to realise opportunities in such dynamic times as these.’
