RESULTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2021 FONTERRA ELECTIONS


Returning Officer Warwick Lampp, of electionz.com Ltd, has declared the final results of the 2021 elections for the

Fonterra Board of Directors, Directors’ Remuneration Committee and Co-operative Council.


Shareholders voted to re-elect incumbent Directors Peter McBride, Leonie Guiney and John Nicholls to the Fonterra

Board.


Shareholders voted to elect incumbent member Stephen Silcock and new member Richard Stalker to the Directors’

Remuneration Committee.


In the Co-operative Council elections, the following three Co-operative Councillors were elected:


Ward 10 – Northern Bay of Plenty Don Hammond

Ward 13 – Central Taranaki Karyn Johnson

Ward 19 – Tasman / Marlborough Simon Tripe


Karyn Johnson and Simon Tripe are new Co-operative Councillors.


In the seven other Co-operative Council wards where elections were due, nominees were elected unopposed. The

Councillors in these wards are:


Ward 1 – Northern Northland Peter Giesbers

Ward 2 – Central Northland Greg Collins

Ward 7 – Waipa Mike Montgomerie

Ward 16 – Central Districts West Megan Cushnahan

Ward 21 – Central Canterbury Mark Slee

Ward 22 – South Canterbury Mark Cressey

Ward 25 – Western Southland Kevin Dixon


Peter Giesbers, Greg Collins, Megan Cushnahan, Mark Cressey and Kevin Dixon are new Co-operative Councillors.


All successful candidates will take office at the close of the Annual Meeting on Thursday, 9

th

December 2021.
