Developers Institute Graduate Employment Strategy for software developers in Northland

Developers Institute is a newly formed Private Training Establishment, developed through industry experience to create a highly skilled workforce in the IT Industry within Te Tai Tokerau. They have developed a New Zealand Diploma in Web Development in Design Level 5 (120 credit). The funding will assist with the development and implementation of an Employment Strategy, with a high-level objective to ensure supported sustainable employment, creating growth and attraction of National and International IT industry to Tai Tokerau, while supporting graduates into sustainable employment and remaining in support for up 12 months after placement. Tertiary Education Commission will contribute towards the delivery of training and qualification. This project will aim to target 87 people over the two year period and of this 85 are expected to attain employment as a result of the project.
