Workfit – Rangatahi NEET Integration Programme

The Workfit - Rangatahi NEET Integration Programme provides a kaupapa Māori approach to support Rangatahi into employment while they pursue their longer-term career aspirations. The programme includes long term and individualised support, engagement with the wider whānau to get them on board, assessment of rangatahi to identify their potential and their barriers, aspirational and supported planning and interventions based on the above assessment, increase capability through targeted training including literacy and numeracy, CV development, health and safety, and computer skills, placement into work or training and pastoral support.The programme will support 150 rangatahi primarily in the areas of Mahora, Camberley and Flaxmere communities, transition into either employment, actively engaged in job seeking or in further education and training opportunities.
