Whanganui Work Ready Passport Initiative - (Human & Social Capital - Work Readiness)

The Recipient will employ 2 x FTE to deliver the Work Ready Passport (WRP) programme in Whanganui schools, purposed at ensuring school leavers are ‘ready for work’ and employers can source the best candidates for their jobs. Under a variation to the funding agreement, it is expected that over a three year period a minimum of 140 people will gain employment as a result of this project. Te Ara Mahi funding partially supports this project alongside co-funding from a variety of external sources.
