About Parliament

New Zealand's Parliament is the supreme legislative body of the country. It consists of the Sovereign (represented by the Governor-General) and the House of Representatives.

The House has 120 members elected under the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) system, including electorate MPs and list MPs.
