Kelvin Rd PDPP Stormwater Improvements

The Gisborne District Council (GDC) is seeking experienced and skilled contractors to undertake the supply and installation of stormwater management infrastructure for the purpose of improving the safety around the open drain and maintain its level of service within the Kaiti catchment. There is a constraint on the available funding for this project. Therefore, we don’t want a contractor who cannot assure the completion of the physical works by 30 April 2026. All contractors and subcontractors who conduct work for, or on behalf of GDC, shall be prequalified via SHE Software Ltd. The recipient will deliver a comprehensive machinery operator training programme within the Civil Infrastructure and Forestry sectors. Based in Tolaga Bay (Uawa), this programme trains 27 new employees and upskills 50 existing employees, with at least 112 training interventions over a 1 year period. 77 permanent jobs expected by end of contract, which will be 90% filled by Maori.
