Second Ashburton Bridge ECI RFT

NZTA seeks a Preferred Contractor for participation in the ECI Phase of the Second Ashburton Bridge (2AB) project (2AB Project), and to prepare a detailed design and construct proposal for the Design & Construct (D+C) phase. The outcomes NZTA is targeting through this ECI procurement model are: Successful collaboration between NZTA, the PTA and the Preferred Contractor and, following the successful procurement of the D+C Contract. Delivery to an accelerated programme for both the ECI Phase and the D+C Phase. Flexibility to manage the consenting pathway and opportunity for the Preferred Contractor input into the consenting and designation process to help set the construction phase up for delivery of the 2AB Project outcomes. Optionality to carry out early and enabling works and long-lead item procurement to support accelerated delivery and value for money. Value for money in the delivery of the physical works. Electronic copies of the Request for Tender documentation are attached to this advertisement. All tender communications are to be submitted through the GETS Questions and Answers portal. All responses to tender questions/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the GETS addenda. Tender submissions shall be uploaded to GETS eTender box in two separate files (pdf format plus EXCEL spreadsheet Schedule of Prices). The GETS file upload limit is 50MB. The files should be labelled: “12379 2AB ECI RFT [Tenderer Name] – Non- Price”; and “12379 2AB ECI RFT [Tenderer Name] - Price”.
